“This course helped me increase my working knowledge of the computer world. I learned how to protect my personal digital information from theft. I also learned how to spot digital scams from people who want to trick me out of my money. Furthermore, I learned the difference between how computer applications work and how the internet works. I also learned many shortcuts to improve my efficiency level at my regular job. Praise God for finding and funding this course with such patient, knowledgeable and giving teachers!!”
“I am happy to recommend the Digital Literacy Program! The teachers are very professional and caring. They fostered a positive environment to explore learning and assisted slower learners one-on-one. We were served a variety of delicious meals by café staff and treated like VIPs. All in all, the class was very enjoyable, and I recommend everyone to take it!”
“Glory be to God for our teachers. They were fabulous and very impressive explaining to us with integrity. They made learning for me much easier. This class boosted my confidence and now I can spend less time troubleshooting and more time on productive and revenue-driving tasks. Now I can search faster, better and smarter.”
“I was in the Digital Literacy class and I learned so much that is helping me with my job as I report monthly for each and every one of my clients. I have to do weekly time sheets and other computer work. It made my job easier and I have become more productive and using safety measures while using the computer. I also learned so much on how to use all the tolls on my phone and many more.”
“Before taking the classes I didn’t have a clue about computers or digital technology and would struggle to send emails and texts in a timely manner. Now, I can confidently communicate using my digital device, send emails and enjoy the full benefit of my smartphone without feeling overwhelmed or giving up.”
“Before enrolling in the program, I lacked the knowledge and confidence to use my smartphone to service my needs, but now I have gained important knowledge about apps, what to download and how to download them. I no longer confuse programs, apps and software. Secondly, I’ve gained more information about Internet security: how to identify fraudulent emails, block them, and how to avoid being scammed. Further, I’ve learned about effective software to use to improve my internet security.”
“Taking this program has allowed me to use so many programs on a computer. Before the classes, I was limited in performing several tasks where I had to go to the public library to use their computer and request their help. Because of this program I now have knowledge and I’m more confident when using a computer. Also, I knew very little about internet security and now I know so much more about protecting myself when I am online. The instructors were amazing, knowledgeable, supportive, and patient with us knowing that we were all at different levels of using a computer.”
