english & skills training program

FOR PEOPLE WITH DIFFERENT ABILITIES

WHY THIS PROGRAM?

English Language Learners with Different Abilities face several barriers in all aspects of life, especially in the labour market and in the workplace. Accommodation is not always sufficient for them, if provided any at all, and their individual circumstances often not considered. Additionally, there is a lack of ESL classes designed for learners with different abilities that is coupled with computer literacy. The need to be successful in a high-tech world greatly requires knowledge and competence of several tools to enhance employability and quality of life and this is where our English & Skills Training Program comes in.

OUR APPROACH

Our English & Skills Training Program is designed with an individualized (one-on-one) approach for People with Different Abilities and customized to fit each individual’s schedule and needs. Instruction is designed and delivered with focus on language, skills training, culture and different abilities to ensure that learners are able to overcome their challenges and reach their maximum potential. It provides learners with the necessary tools and skills required to gain employment after completing the program.

 WHAT WILL I LEARN?

Participants learn and develop foundational computer skills including typing, sending emails, web search, etc., while learning and developing their English communication skills.

After successful completion of the English & Skills Training Program, learners are awarded a certificate for each component of the program.
