Excellerix Kids Summer Camp provides fun-filled, exciting and innovative summer programs that are rich with activities and learning basic French. Our flexible activities and academic environment both make for an all-compassing experience. Our expert staff recognizes each camper’s strengths to support the growth of our younger campers while building character in our older ones. Campers thrive in our structured environment complete with small groups, daily routines, and a consistent learning program. Children will be divided in two groups: ages 6-9 and 10-12 years old.

Optional Before and After Camp Child Care Services also available for an additional charge from 8-9AM and 4-5PM.

    EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION IS NOW ON!

      Register early to guarantee your spot!

      Early Bird: $200 per child per week until June 11

      Regular fee: $225 per week, per child from June 12 – 29, 2023
      After June 29 – $275 per week, per child


      We also offer a $1,100 bundle for each child registered for the entire camp
      from May 15 until June 30, 2023 with a $550 saving

      Summer camp fees are subject to change. Short weeks are discounted by 20%
      Payment is due at registration.

      **Withdrawal within a week after registration – Full refund

      **Withdrawal within 2 weeks after registration – 50% refund

      **Withdrawal after June 12 – No refund

      EARLY DROP-OFF OR LATE PICK UP

      We are pleased to let you know that we offer an extended hours program from 8:00am- 5:00pm. Extended Hours are purchased on a week by week basis we, unfortunately, do not offer single day options. Please email us at camp@glhcommunityservices.org for more information.

      Sports Camp              July 4 – July 7

      We strive to provide a fun, safe and exciting environment that teaches kids about good sportsmanship, fitness, responsibility, and respect for all. Our sports camp features a variety of professional athletes, speakers and sports such as soccer, basketball and more. It’s a great place for children to develop team-building skills, confidence, a newfound love for sports, and create new friendships.

      Drama/Puppetry Camp   July 10 – July 14

      This camp encourages kids to be creative while having fun. Your child will have the opportunity to develop the drama skills, script writing and performing.

      We provide fun energetic activities and practical skills that will help build their confidence, and creativity. It’s a great way to spend time with friends and learn and explore.

      Music Camp            July 17 – July 21

      If you love music and would simply like to learn a new instrument, the music camp is a great place to start. From singing songs to trying new instruments, to song writing, our special guest musician and children entertainer, Perry Springman, will teach the skills required! Our full week of music camp is about having fun with music and making new friends.

      Science Camp        July 24 – July 28

      Learning doesn’t stop when kids are out of school! Our science camp teaches how to be creative and innovative. It’s filled with fun STEM activities, science experiments and more.

      Cooking Camp       July 31 – August 4

      Our fun-filled cooking camp will teach your child how to plan and prepare healthy meals while inculcating healthy choices and healthy eating habits. Your child will learn and develop practical life skills, independence and confidence in a safe environment that will last a lifetime. For children that enjoy being in the kitchen, this is an ideal way to spend their summer holidays.

      Arts Camp                   August 8 – August 11

      It’s designed to enhance creativity through imagination, develop new artistic passion, and have loads of fun. Children will enjoy a full week of arts and crafts, painting, drawing, and more!

      12:00pm – 1:00pm: Lunch/Outdoor play

      1:00pm – 2:00pm: Literacy and Math practice skills (Group 1), (Group 2)

      2:00pm – 3:15pm: Group Activities

      3:15pm – 3:30pm: Snack time

      3:30pm – 3:45pm: Clean up

      3:45pm – 4:00pm: Kids pick up (must be picked up no later than 4pm)

      *We have a limit of 15 campers per week, per age group with a camper to instructor ratio of 8:1 and some weeks 4:1.

      Volunteer Opportunities

      Summer 2023

      Do you have an enthusiasm working with kids? Would you like to gain practical and valuable experience while helping to make a difference? We are always looking for great people to inspire, motivate and empower kids to reach their maximum potential. 

      As a volunteer,  the benefits you enjoy are endless including increasing your sense of purpose, keeping you physically and mentally active, learning new and lifelong skills and building self-confidence. You get an opportunity to work with school age children and youth while partaking in the daily fun and interactive activities like going on field trips and excursions, doing arts and crafts and learning a new language.

      Application Period: March 13 – June 9, 2023 

      Volunteer Period: July 4 – August 11, 2023
      You can choose to volunteer for the duration of the camp or a minimum of 80 hours
      consisting of either 2 full weeks or
      mornings or afternoons (does not have to be consecutive).

      Steps for Volunteering

      2. Conduct an interview (if called for an interview)

      3. Submit criminal record check (we can supply a letter)

      4. Attend 2-3 hour volunteer orientation
