Pascaline Nsekera

Director of Programs & Services

Pascaline has over 15 years in non-profit management and leadership focusing on employment and immigrant and refugee services. Pascaline has a passion for advocating and for providing support to people in need.  She has initiated and developed several innovative projects designed for improving the lives of marginalized and at risk population, including youth, immigrant and refugee women, and other groups; including the Illustrated Journey Immigrant Youth Project, Komeza Refugee Empowerment Women Society, UBC Africa Awareness, UBC Africa Network, and many others.  Pascaline is dedicated to the values of inclusion, social justice, empowerment, and service excellency. In her professional journey, Pascaline has held various positions in different settings including Administrative staff at the UBC School of Social Work, Immigrant Employment Specialist at La Boussole, Director/Founder of Illustrated Journey Youth  Program,  Manager at New Hope Refugee Women Housing, Founder/President of Komeza Refugee Women Empowerment Society, as well as Manager of the  BC Francophone Immigration Program. Pascaline holds a Bachelor of Sciences from UBC and has completed further studies at UVIC in Social Work.
