our success storiesWE PRIDE OURSELVES IN WHAT WE HAVE ACHIEVED… We make people make people and their communities…Beyond the sky is our limit… 9Over 5454 individuals have received emotional support from our 24/7 Crisis Help Line. 9Over 1232 individuals have been helped with educational support via our Scholarship, Award and Financial Aid Department. 9Over 3669 individuals have been helped through our Emotional Wellbeing Program for those living with Alzheimer's, depression, schizophrenia, psychosis, ADHD, Autism, brain injury, trauma/PTSD, Parkinson’s, fibromyalgia, and other psychoneurological disorders. 9Our Community Connections and Outreach Services have served over 3,682 individuals and families. 9Our uniquely crafted Grief and Loss Counselling Services has helped over 996 individuals to overcome hurdles such as shame, guilt, denial and other feelings that come with losing loved ones, properties, materials, relationships, finances, and many more. 9Over 1,266 individuals and families have benefiting from our Legal and Advocacy Services. 9Our New Parent and Post-Partum Support Services has has helped over 1,531 new parents and their children through different techniques. 9Through our Child Protection and Custody Support Services, over 252 individuals received Education Resources and Supportive Care Service. 9Our Leadership Training and Development Program has reached out to over 3,251 people of all ages via educational resources and support needed to overcome challenges inhibiting self-actualization. 9Over 2,121 families and loved ones have received supportive education and resources through our Family Support/ Reconciliation Services. 9We have supported over 2390 families and individuals via our Settlement and Language training programs and services. 9More than 6544 individuals in our communities have received support from our Educational, Employment and Career Development Services and Programs. 9Through our Wellness & Nutrition Program, over 7652 individuals have learned to practice healthy living lifestyle to combat somatic disorders, and other medical challenges. 9With our supportive and pro-fessionally trained volunteers, our Substance Misuse & Re-covery/Rehabilitation Services, has provided help for over 3,632 persons from different comm-unities. 9Over 3,641 individuals have been supported through our Conflict Resolution, Mediation and Crisis Intervention Services. 9Over 1328 people living with terminal illnesses (HIV/AIDS Autoimmune illnesses and other forms of diseases) alongside with their family members have received support and care through our Family Support Services. 9Over 672 older adults and their loved ones got support from our Convalescence and Older Adults Support Program. 9Our Special Needs services has helped over 657 people. 9Our Suicide Prevention Program has provided training, resources and education for over 485 individuals, families and their loved ones to ensure that the number of suicide remains low in our communities. 9The Heart and Stroke Support Program provided help and support for over 1292 people living with cardiovascular diseases and equipped stroke survivors with resources to improve their quality of life.
