Empowering Women

Youth-led Dialogue

In this spirit of Black History Month, Great Light Healing Community Services Society (GLHCSS) will hold a youth led dialogue to discuss systemic barriers faced by Black youth and how to address them. The goal is to give a voice to Black youth to share their lived experiences and generate solutions that challenge the status quo. The conversation will touch on different themes including systemic racism in employment, education, healthcare, the justice system, social services, and public life.  The event will conclude with professional and social networking, as we celebrate the voices and contributions of Black youth.  Community leaders and members will also be invited.
